President, Tynika-NyChel Tossie

Picture
My name is Tynika-NyChel Tossie and I'm a current junior at The College of New Jersey, graduating in 2012. My major is Management and my minor is Law, Politics and Philosophy. I'm hoping my future career involves implementing my biggest passion in life; peace and equality for all. In my free time, I practice piano and enjoy the great out doors!

Vice President, Jessica Sparano

Picture
My name is Jessica Sparano. I'm currently a sophomore international studies major with a Middle East concentration. I have been interested in human rights for many years now and hope to actively pursue a career advocating for human rights. While this is only my second year in Amnesty International, I have a lot of great ideas and I am very excited to see what we can accomplish this year.

Kate Quinn

Picture
Kate Quinn is currently a freshman at TCNJ majoring in Finance.  She has been involved with Amnesty International on an individual level in the past and is excited to join TCNJ’s chapter and continue her passion of advocating human rights.  Kate hopes to raise awareness and empathy on campus, as well as raise support for those struggling for their human rights.

Secretary, Anne-Sophie Gerald

Picture
Anne-Sophie Gerald will be a sophomore International Studies major at TCNJ for the 2011-12 school year, and
recently became the secretary of TCNJ's chapter of Amnesty International. Her goals for the group include increasing
membership and campus involvement in the organization for next year, and she hopes to be able to change at least one
bystander into a human rights advocate.

Co-Pubic Relations/Liaison, Kate Aebischer

Picture
Kate Aebischer is a Junior and an Anthropology major at TCNJ.  She also has a minor in International Studies as well as German. She has always been interested in people and the world we live in and hopes to explore the world for herself someday. For Amnesty she is specifically interested in crimes inflicted against women as well as international justice cases.

Co-Public Relations/Liaison, Sabre Burroughs

Picture
I am a Junior at the lovely TCNJ, expecting to graduate in May 2013. My academic life here includes my double majors: English/Women & Gender Studies and a Minor in Political Science. My dream and life ambition is to see the marginalized people of the world liberated through social movements, civil and political action, toward progression, justice, and ultimately equality. Organizations like Amnesty provide an outlet for students with similar global concerns, which is why I was an active member in high school and continued through college. If you want to make a change, Amnesty is for you.
